The link below is a video of a man speaking about 'embracing the shake'.
He talks of being an artist, then developing a shake in his hand. He did not want to accept the shake at first so by trying to make it better, he just made it worse. This shake in his hand 'made' him quit his artistic journey for a while, until finally, he could no longer stay away. He decided to go to a neurologist and figure out if his shake could be fixed, turns out he had given himself permanent nerve damage. The neurologist said: "why don't you just embrace the shake", and that he did. He started trying different mediums and new things that he could do successfully with his shake, broadening his artistic horizons. I, personally, have a slight shake. My shake isn't just in my hand, but it's there. I would never give up my art, I think that it's great that he was able to solve a problem such as that and do it so well. www.ted.com/talks/phil_hansen_embrace_the_shake
